Well, the 2023 Paint It! Ellicott City plein air event is just about in the books. I did 7 or 8 paintings, Some with great results, and some… well I learned a lot from the not as great. But it’s always good to push yourself to try things out of your comfort zone and why not have fun. The weather was nice for the most part. Thursday, day 1, being the only day with issues. The air quality from The Canadian wildfires causing smoky air. I really think it added some atmosheric perspective, which for me I think worked.
Today is framing, and tomorrow will be submitting to be judged. I look forward to see the results!
